11/7/2018 2:25:00 PM Dodge Center council selects candidate for city administrator

Dodge Center City Council members met Monday with the last of the candidates for the city administrator position. After that interview and a tour of the city, with a unanimous vote the council made an offer to Josh Tetzlaff from Colorado. He has through Friday, Nov. 9 to reply.
Mayor Bill Ketchum said Tetzlaff and his wife Kim have a year-and-a-half-old son and are expecting another addition to the family shortly. They are originally from South Dakota and look forward to returning to the Upper Midwest.
Councilman Gary Trelstad said he was impressed by Tetzlaff's eagerness to learn and experience in planning and economic development. He expects Tetzlaff will develop good relationships with businesses and people in the community. He said Tetzlaff was impressed and eager to work with the diverse industrial businesses in Dodge Center and to tackling developing housing for workers and growth.
