1/3/2018 1:18:00 PM Dodge Center Ambulance Service sees changes over past year
By Karen M. Jorgensen
It has been a little over a year since Jared Oscarson took the helm of the Dodge Center Ambulance Service and it has been a busy 12-plus months, he said.
The service has acquired a new ambulance, several personnel have left to take positions with larger companies and new local personnel have been added and a new building is nearing completion.
Starting in January, he said, the service began working through the design of their new home which is an addition to the current Fire Department on County Road 34. The facility will include equipment bays, sleeping quarters, offices and a remodeled kitchen that will be shared with the firefighters.
Construction is on schedule, Oscarson said, and it should be ready for occupancy early in the new year.
"Everything is coming along," he said. "We're looking at a February move-in."
