You'll be evermore sorry
if you miss Nevermore!
We were fortunate enough to be able to be in the audience for the first performance of the Mantorville Theatre Company's latest production, "Nevermore, the Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allen Poe."
It was magnificent!
The energy, acting, costuming, lighting, sets, choreography, singing, everything was top notch, as good as anything you will see in the Twin Cities, maybe even Broadway. If every performance is this good, and I suspect each will be as the cast gains experience, this is a show everyone who loves good theatre should get tickets for now.
This is a dinner theatre, so advance tickets are always required, but regardless of when you may want to attend, I recommend getting tickets ordered now as they are going fast.
The dinner is served by Omar's Kitchen, so you know the food will also be excellent.
We are so blessed in our area with the quality of the cultural amenities we have. We may not have the number of choices available to those in large cities, but what we have is most often top quality.
We are still waiting on some promised articles about Harvest Fest for our upcoming Harvest Fest commemorative magazine. If you are working on something, please get it into us. If you have decided you can't do it, please also let us know that.
We are busy ourselves going through back copies of the newspaper and pulling together material. I have to admit that it gets slow because I keep running into interesting articles from before we bought the newspapers and some I'd forgotten that happened since we did.
