Diane Orr plans to do some substitute teaching after retiring from a full-time career in education.

After 16 years of working as the Hayfield Community School's Special Education Coordinator, Diane Orr is retiring.
Orr said it's bittersweet to be leaving the district. She's going to miss her staff and her students the most. "There are just no words to describe the feeling that I get when I walk into a room and see a child that has behavior issues have a break through," she explained. "There's just no better feeling than that, I will miss that the most." She said she will not however, miss the legality side of her job. "There's a lot of regulations and laws that we have to follow as a district. I won't miss those."
