Mr. Spores, 50, was born Feb. 21, 1962 in San Jose, CA. He passed away from a long illness with cancer on Tuesday, November 20 in Denver, CO with his mother and siblings at his side. He grew up in Byron, MN and is a Graduate of Byron High School in 1980 and earned a Bachelor Degree in 1984 from St. Thomas College, St. Paul, MN. He enjoyed traveling and working for a travel company for many years. His travels took him throughout the United States and frequently overseas. His favorite destination was the Caribbean Islands. He enjoyed sports in High School and College and was a member of the Cross Country Team at St. Thomas College. He enjoyed amateur sports, particularly Track and Field in World Championship and Olympic events. He loved his nieces and nephews and was regularly "employed" as a babysitter.
Survivors include his mother Jeanette Kohls of Evergreen, CO, his brother Ronald (wife Mary) of Seattle, WA, his brother Kenneth (wife Kimberlee) of Durham, NC, his sister Ann Kenchel (husband Kurt) of Evergreen, CO, and sister Cathi Mitchell (husband Jeff) of Thornton, CO.
