Earl Junior Bowman
Earl Junior Bowman, 85, of Dodge Center passed away on May 3, 2017, at his home in Dodge Center.
Earl was born on April 22, 1932, the son of Earl and Veda (Robinson) Bowman in Algona, Iowa. Earl was united in marriage to Shirley Miller on December 31, 1950, at Doan Methodist Church in Burt, Iowa. The couple moved to Minnesota in 1955, and he farmed south of Dodge Center for many years.
Earl enjoyed camping, fishing and being with his family. He and Shirley wintered in Texas.
Earl is survived by his wife, Shirley Bowman; sons, Tom Bowman; Robert (Julie) Bowman, all of Dodge Center; daughter, Joanne Wetzstein, Kenyon; daughter-in-law, Linda Bowman, Dodge Center; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; sisters, Judy (Roger) Radig, Lone Rock, IA; and Barbara Craig, Washington, IL. He was preceded in death by parents; brother, Larry; sister, Delores Lallier; son, John; and daughter-in-law, June.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 7, 2017, from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home 25 South Street SW in Dodge Center, MN and one half hour before the service at the church on Monday.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2017, at the United Methodist Church First Avenue and First Street NE in Dodge Center with Reverend Debora Miller officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center.
