SCHOOL BOARD MINUTES
Monday, June 18, 2018-6 p.m.

Members present: Sharon Kreitinger, Tessa Olive, Harvey Bergh, Mark Chilson, Chris Schmit. Members absent: Faith Hollasch, Matt Prigge and Student Council Representative Anna Lortscher. Superintendent Dr. Joey Page was present.

Byron City Council update
Approved new required Lead in Water policy
Approved new policy for Media Guidelines and a revision to policy 106 School District Affiliation
Approved Preliminary FY 19 budget
Approved 10-year revenue and expenditure projections for long term facilities maintenance funds
Appointed Dr. Joey Page as the Identified Official with Authority and Deb Brown for the backup
Appoint Dr. Joey Page as the responsible authority
Appointed Dr. Joey Page as Identified Responsible Contract Authority
Approved Resolution to Amend and Restate the MidAmerica Administration & Retirement Solutions Health Reimbursement Arrangement
Sharon Kreitinger shared a summary of the Superintendent's performance review. For every area evaluated that could be assessed, Dr. Page ranked between a 3 (Satisfactory) to a 5 (exemplary) with 90% of those responses being a 4 or 5 so he received above satisfactory rankings.

Byron Middle School was awarded a $25,000 Bush Foundation Grant to begin designing individualized learning options.
