SUMMARY COUNCIL MINUTES

June 12, 2017

This published information is a summary of the full minutes of the June 12, 2017 Dodge Center City Council meeting. A copy of the full minutes is available for viewing at City Hall, 35 East Main Street or online at www.ci.dodgecenter.mn.us.

Present: Mayor Bill Ketchum, Gary Trelstad, Paul Blaisdell, Cathy Skogen, Josh Jorgenson, Lee Mattson; Dave Kenworthy; Jared Oscarson; Wendy Kenworthy; Joe Wernecke; Blake Hilsman; John Sustacek; Linda Nagel; Deputy Jeff Brion, Larry Dobson, Deanna Kuhl, Lowell Schwenke, John Buckingham, Jason Harris, Kimberly Dickey

The City Council approved the following items:

• Agenda, minutes, and accounts payables presented;

• A 30' driveway approach on the property at 305 4th Avenue NW to be paid for by the City, and a 12' second driveway approach to be finished right away and paid for by homeowner;

• Hobby Kennel License of Deanna Kuhl, 406 2nd Street NE;

• Free Aquatic Center passes for Fire Department and Ambulance Service volunteers;

• Request from Fire Department to waive Community Center deposit and fees for their annual Pancake Breakfast in October 2017;

• Request to sell the Triton Christmas ornaments at the June Bloom event;

• Bid from Osseo Construction Company, LLC to repair and resurface the Southeast Water Tower;

• Resolution No. 2017-024, A Resolution Setting Liquor License Fees;

• Retain statuary monetary insurance tort liability limits established by State of MN;

• Staff to hire the candidate they have chosen for the Administrative Clerk position;

• Staff to execute a Partial Release of Mortgage for Lot 1, Block 1, Hoaglund Third Subdivision;

• Mayor Ketchum and Lee Mattson determine whether or not the street will be closed for June Bloom event;

• Compensation to Dave Kenworthy for Ambulance Service manager duties while the Ambulance Director was on leave with a stipend;

• Stipend to Julie Beth for extra duties performed at City Hall;

• Purchasing a Laserfiche license for the Community Development Specialist;

• Temporary liquor license for 2017 Harvest Fest;

Meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
