The Steele County Chapter of the Iron Order Motorcycle Club, on May 5, celebrated the opening of their new clubhouse located on Main Street in Dodge Center.
The club started in Steele County in May of 2017 and in March of this year finally found a place to call home. A member of the club knew the owner of the building and they started talking about the club renting the building.
Steele County Chapter President "Tiger" said everything fell into place.
Members from charters all over the tri-state area came to Dodge Center last Saturday to celebrate the opening of the new clubhouse.
Tiger explained that although the Iron Order is a motorcycle club it is not a "one percent" motorcycle club, meaning they do not partake in criminal activity. They are a group of brothers that love to ride hard and enjoy the brotherhood that comes from a motorcycle club.
Tiger said that he left the military after 20 years and really missed the brotherhood that came with it; he found that again in Iron Order.
Tilt, who is the Regional Director of the Iron Order, said he is also former military and had a really hard time adjusting to civilian life. The motorcycle club also gives him the brotherhood of the military and the adrenaline rush of riding fast with his brothers.
