The Mantorville Theatre Company Continues Its Summer Melodrama Season With "A Sault on the Senses," or, "Medium At Large"

The Mantorville Theatre Company is thrilled to continue its 42nd Summer Melodrama Season with Gregory David Miller's Melodrama, "A Sault on the Senses," or, "Medium At Large" directed by Rachel Soland. The show opens on Friday, August 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mantorville Opera House, and runs every Friday and Saturday night at 7:30, and every Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., through August 17, 2014.

Mrs. Puffy is holding a seance to ask her dead husband how to invest her share of the profits from Puffy Puffs, his cotton conglomerate. Against the advice of her assistant, May Bright, Mrs. Puffy requests the services of a medium, Professor A. Sault, who has his own ideas of what should happen to her fortune. Mrs. Puffy's nephew, the house staff, and a nosy neighbor also manage to play a part in thwarting Professor Sault and his sidekick, Willie, in their sneaky attempts to steal her money.

Directed by Rachel Soland of Mantorville, our cast features the acting talents of Mr. Luke Walker of Kasson, Mr. Justin Marsland of Kasson, Mr. Joseph Ruemping of Rochester, Mrs. Priscilla Ruemping of Byron, Ms. Renee Deeds of Rochester, Ms. Laurel Panser of Rochester, Ms. Hannah Retzer of Byron, Mr. Gavin Johnson of West Concord, Miss Katie Harfmann of Mantorville and Miss Evelyn Deeds of Rochester, and features the talents of Mrs. Carla Webster of Mantorville on the piano.
